   Tommy Bahama swim suits always fit perfectly and the quality is always excellent. These swim suit bottom does also.

   I ordered a medium. I am 5-9 and 150 and have wider hips. I wear an 8-10 in most pants. This bottom was definitely too small across my hips. And not high rise in my opinion. More of a midrise. If you are narrower through the hips, it would be true to size. Otherwise, the material and look was good.

   I’m 5’3″, 125lbs, 37″ hips, 28″ waist and usually wear a 2 or a 4. I ordered both the XS and the SM. The XS fits better across the bottom and the SM fit better at the waist. I have returned the SM because it was too loose in the seat and in the leg openings. I’m still debating on the XS because it does cause a slight muffin top whereas the SM did not. I hope I can get past the squeezed waist effect because the bottom itself is SO flattering. Great rear and front coverage without looking matronly or like granny panties; very comfortable; ruching is flattering; well-made; nice material. I would consider this a high mid-rise rather than some of the retro very high-rises that are popular. It hits just at my natural waist. One reviewer felt this suit would be good for someone with narrow hips. My hips are narrow relative to my waist, and the fit is off. I think this bottom is best suited for someone whose hip measurements are more proportional to their waist – not too narrow, not too wide.

   I always wear an xxs or 00 in Lilly Pulitzer(dresses, tops, sweaters, pullovers, pants etc.). The Ophelia dress was too tight through my bust, shoulders & the under arms. It fit perfectly elsewhere. I reordered an xs. It’s super soft & such a cute style! It does run short as well. I’m 5’4, 32C, 97lbs.
